A3 printers are not your typical household appliance but for those who want to print off good quality photographs or for businesses who want a larger scale printer, they are more on the cards. The trouble with them used to be their price when compared to a normal printer as well as their size. Well there wasn’t a great deal, manufacturers could do about the latter, but when demand decreased, so did their price. As such they are now more affordable than ever.

HP have an affordable range as well as Epson and Brother. Starting around the $300 mark, they are significantly cheaper than the high end options which run well into the thousands of dollars. And these machines are not just printers – they can copy, scan as well as fax. They often feature wireless networking, duplex printing and multimedia options. Their only downside is their large size meaning they are not exactly portable. They can of course be placed on a wheeled printer stand for ease of moveability around the office or between offices.
No longer should the A3 printer be thought of as an unaffordable extra. It is now within the reach of most small businesses and will really add efficiencies you never thought possible for such a low price.
