Is The Term Anti Wrinkle Cream Just A Marketing Device?

Is the term, anti wrinkle cream just another marketing ploy to seduce people into purchasing skin care products that do very little? Is it true that some skin care products that claim to reduce wrinkles, are actually dangerous to your health, and even to your skin? If genuine anti aging creams that are healthy for your skin, mind and body, really do exist, how can you tell the difference between those products and the ones that are bad for you?

Dioxin is a chemical that is on the list of highly suspected human carcinogens. It is an eye and throat irritant, and it is also thought to cause birth defects. Yet you can find it in more than one third of products that are sold as “anti aging”, skincare products, and it’s found in a number of products that are labeled natural or organic. Clearly, you have your work cut out for you.

It can be confusing, not only because of the lack of truth in labeling, but many times, these chemical products seem to have a nice effect on your skin. The problem is, the positive effect is just for the short term. Anti wrinkle cream care has to be taken. You have to use the product consistently for it to work at all, so that is why you have to make sure you buy the best skincare product for you!

The longer you use them, the more their true colors begin to show. You can slowly poison your skin and your body for years, before you understand the error of your ways, if you are not using the right products.

The best anti wrinkle creams are organic and natural. You skin absorbs whatever you put on it, into your bloodstream. If this were not the case, doctors would not prescribe drugs that are delivered by wearing a patch on your hip, or elsewhere.

The term, anti wrinkle, in itself, is not a marketing ploy, but a valid description of how the best skin care products work. Many wrinkles and other signs of aging are significantly reduced, and sometimes, even disappear. Some people have undergone transitions within less than a year, where they look more than a decade younger than they used to.

You will recognize many of the ingredients in a quality anti wrinkle cream from some of the supplements that you take internally, or some of the foods you eat. Among these are avocado and coconut oil, vitamins E, D and K, as well as Co enzyme Q-10. Another point of confusion is exposure to the sun. You may know that too much sun can make you look older, but so can the lack of daily UV sunlight exposure to your skin. Proper daily sunlight also reduces cancer risks by more than half.
