If I was going to sing the praises of my new Krups coffee grinder, I would not know where to start. Out of all the coffee grinders that I have either bought or received as gifts over the years, this little darling is the best looking small model that I have ever seen.

Its elegant black color, coupled with its compact size, makes it almost a decorative piece that could add style to any small corner in your kitchen. All the previous small grinders that I purchased were stainless steel; and I always found stainless steel tacky when sitting in my rustic home. So I was very glad to come across this particular Krups model. one day when I was browsing online.

I know that many people advise against it, but I always used my small countertop coffee grinder to grind my spices. What can I say, I am sucker for freshly ground coriander! All the previous grinders I owned seemed to retain some of the odor. My husband hated it. He repeatedly told me that not very appetizing to drink coffee that smells a bit like flaxseed! But luckily, the Krups interior seems to more ‘odor’ proof. I don’t even have to wash it: I can just wipe it clean with a few paper towels!

The Krups grinder is also very user friendly. No assembly was required, and as soon as you close the lid it starts grinding away.

I found this grinder surprisingly powerful for its small size: a few small bursts can grind the toughest beans! Whether you want your coffee beans coarse or ultra fine for an espresso machine, the Krups will surely deliver exactly what you need.

So what’s my verdict? This Krups coffee grinder is probably the best small coffee grinder out there in the market. Perfect for coffee, and spice lovers!
