Dinosaurs And Bedding

Fierce Tyrannosaurus Rex. Quick striking raptors. Plant eating allosaurus. Heavy stegosaurus. Are these the things of nightmares? What do these have to do with a good night’s sleep? Dinosaur bedding. A whole host of comforters, sheets, and bed skirts with dinosaurs imprinted on them giving a child a night of pleasant dreams – does that sound crazy? Dinosaurs might not seem very cuddly. They might not seem comforting. Yet, a child snuggled under a dinosaur comforter is very comfortable. A cozy dinosaur blanket tucked tightly around a sleeping child brings pleasant sleep and keeps the chills and chilling thoughts at bay. Peaceful sleep awaits the child protected by his dinosaur bedding.

Any time you purchase baby bedding, especially for children you want to make sure you are getting good quality bedding that can withstand the trials, and many washings, that go with childhood. When looking for quality comforters, check the stitching. You want high quality, small stitching that will keep the filling from bunching up after washing and will not start ripping out with active, creative play. While 100% cotton is a strong natural fabric, fabrics made from a cotton/polyester blend might be a better choice. Comforters made with the cotton/polyester blend might prove to be stronger than cotton alone and provide more give when kids play, or even, heaven forbid, jump on their beds. In addition, the cotton/polyester blend may be more stain resistant and is very easy to launder.

Besides the quality of the bedding, there are other considerations to think of when choosing bedding. The greater the pattern on your bedding, the easier spots and stains will hide, reducing the number of washings necessary. Busy dinosaur patterns should keep children occupied tracing the outlines of the different dinosaurs and dreaming of life with dinosaurs as pets and friends. Dinosaurs and bedding, a great combination to entertain as well as bring comfort and a good night’s sleep to your children.
